At a programme organised at the Suchna Kendra by the local unit of Bodhi Rachanakar Manch, the recently published poetry collection 'Sorry! ‘Aryabhat Sir’ by Chhindwara (MP) based Shefali was discussed.
Sushma Gupta said that Shefali’s poems are full of subtle sensibilities. In this book, all the aspects of women's life have been analysed and taken seriously. She has tried to reveal the social practice of discrimination against women.
Satyapal Joyia said that in this book, poems are found from the threshold of the house to the intersection. These poems try to tease out the 'why' that is simmering within us. In these, anger, sympathy, pain, question, voice and sarcasm are all found together.
While presiding, senior poet and educationist Dr. PC Acharya said that Shefali's poems show the mirror to the society. In these poems, not only the women's side has been given place, but an attempt has been made to give voice to the sufferings of all sections of the society.
Manch convenor Dr. Navjyot Bhanot urged everyone to cooperate in developing book culture and critical literary activities. Dr. Bhanot and co-convenor Dr. OP Tiwari honored the key speakers. Earlier, Krishan Kumar 'Ashu' introduced Shefali and congratulated her for this program organized on her birthday. The stage was coordinated by co-coordinator Arun Urmesh.
