Punjab Cricket Association Colts beat Haryana Cricket Association Colts by 16 runs & entered in final of the 29th All India JP Atray Cricket Tournament played at IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali here today.Kunwar Kuckreja ( claimed 4 wickets ) of Punjab Cricket Association Colts was declared Man of the match.Sh.J.R.Kundal (Ex. IAS ) & Commissioner of Punjab was chief Guest & gave away the Man of the match Prize to Kunwar Kuckreja .
Tomorrows Final match will played between Punjab Cricket Association Colts & Delhi Challengers at IS Bindra PCA Cricket Stadium, Mohali.Sh.Kultar Singh Sandhwan , Honble Speaker of Punjab legislative Assembly will be the Chief Guest for the Prize Distribution function at 4.30.p.m.
1st Semifinal match was played IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali batting first Punjab Cricket Association Colts scored 267 runs for 6 wickets in allotted 38 overs.Openor Harnoor Singh India Under-19 player scored brilliantelly 76 runs, Karteek Sharma Scored 59 runs , Uday Pratap Saharan scored 53 runs while Shabaj Singh scored 30 not out runs & Sukhdeep Bajwa scored 27 runs .for bowling side HCA Colts bowler Yashvardhan Dalal claimed 2 wickets while Piyush Dahiya , Ishant bhardwaj, Kanishk Chouhan & Lakshay Sangwan all claimed 1-1 wicket.
Chasing the target 267 runs but Haryana Cricket Association Colts scored 251 runs for 9 wickets in 38 overs & HCA colts team was short by 16 runs. In the 2nd Semifinal match was played here today at Mullanpur PCA Cricket Stadium Delhi Challengers beat Soni Cricket Club, Chandigarh by 5 wickets & entered in Final.Mahipal Lomror ( 83 not out runs in just 45 balls) of Delhi Challengers was declared Man of the match.
The Man of the match prize given by Anmol Sharda , BCCI Umpire & Sh.Deepider Singh, PCA Pitch Quarator. Batting first Soni Cricket Club , Chandigarh scored 243 runs for 8 wickets in allotted 28 overs due to rain & wet out field .
