As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Jaswinder Singh, SDPO/South a team of officials of Police Station, Sector-31, Chandigarh headed by ASI Dilbag Singh No. 3016/CP along with police party achieved a major achievement by arresting three accused namely Kshitiz @ Cherry S/o Narender R/o # 486 Village Hallomajra Chandigarh Age 25 Years, accused Sudeep Pahal S/o Bijender Pahal R/o # 1185 Sector 13 Kurkshetra , age 27 yrs and Ramdeep S/o Virender Singh R/o VPO Barwala Hisar Age 26 years.
The contraband i.e. heroine recovered 18.77gm heroine including polythine from the possession of Ramdeep S/o Virender and 13.41 gm heroine including polythine recovered from the possession of Sudeep Pahal S/o Bijender Pahal.
Total 32.18 gm heroine including polythine has been recovered from their possession. On this a case FIR No. 190, dated 24.09.2024 U/S 21, 29 NDPS Act and 61(2) BNS , PS-31, Chandigarh has been registered.
During interrogation it has been found that all the three above named accused in connivance with each other had purchased the recovered heroine and were selling the same in tricity.
On 24.09.2024, ASI Dilbag Singh along with police party laid a naka near 3BRD Road Ram Darbar, Chandigarh with regard to prevention and detection of crime and during the checking at Naka, he observed a swift car No. HR-10AE-8130, grey coloured and he along with police party stopped the said car. The driver (Ramdeep S/o Virender Singh) of the car get down and tried to throw some articles from his hand. On checking when the hand feast of Ramdeep was opened and then a polythine containing 18.77 gm heroine was recovered from his possession. During further checking of another person, namely Sudeep S/o Bijender Singh who was sitting by the driver, 13.41 gm heroine was also recovered from his possession while he was trying to throw it. The third person who was sitting on the back seat of said car disclosed his name as Kshitiz @ Cherry. All were arrested in the case FIR No. 190, dated 24.09.2024 U/S 21, 29 NDPS Act and 61(2) BNS , PS-31, Chandigarh. During the search of car cash Rs. 100500/- was also recovered.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Sudeep Pahal S/o Bijendera, Present Address H. No. 1185, Sector 13, Kurukshetra Haryana. Age 27 years. He is Graduate and unmarried, and still unemployed. Hr was wanted in Case FIR No. 20/2019, U/S 147, 148, 149, 452, 302, 307, 34 IPC and 25/27/54/59 Arm Act PS-49, Chandigarh
The Accused Ramdeep S/o Virender Singh, Present Address # 528, Madhuban Colony Ward No. 12, near Hansi Road, Barwala Hisar, Haryana, Age 26. He studed upto 12th and unmarried, still unemployed.

The accused Kshitiz @ Cherry S/o Narender, presently residing at 486, Village Hallomajra, Chandigarh
Age 25, studied upto 12th, still unmarried and unemployed.
Previous criminal record 1. Case FIR No. 140/2022, U/S 324, 307, 34 IPC, PS-17, Chd.
All the accused were on bail in their previous registered cases.
On Wednesday all the three accused named above will be produced before the Hon’ble Court for seeking police remand. Further investigation is going on.
