ARMY COMMANDER’S POLO CUP FINALS HELD

The finals of 19th edition of Army Commander’s Polo Cup was held at 61 Cavalry Polo Ground in Jaipur Military Station. 

Army Commander’s Polo Cup was instituted by General Officer Commanding, South Western Command in 2006. The 19th edition had six teams of the country participating in this tournament namely Team Jaipur, ASC Royal Enfield, Mayfair Polo Team, Chandna Polo, V Polo-Cavalry and Bedla Polo.

(SUBHEAD)The finals played on 29th September between Bedla Polo and Mayfair Polo was a fiercely contested match with both the teams showing their professional skills and exceptional sportsmanship. Mayfair Polo Team emerged as the winner with a score of 10-9. 

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander South Western Command graced the occasion as the chief guest and presented the prizes to the Winners and the Runners Up teams. A riding skill display was also carried out by the 61 Cavalry team for the spectators including all ranks and families of Jaipur Military Station
