Sarah Mahajan of UTCA has been selected for Team D in the Women's Under 19 T20 Challengers Trophy starting from 24 October at Raipur. The selectors have confirmed Sarah's selection for her excellent performance in the last BCCI and UTCA’s domestic season.

Bawa's all round performance helped UT boys in commanding position

A valuable century knock from Raj Angad Bawa helped UT boys to secure a 35 runs lead against Assam on the second day of the Ranji trophy match being played at Barsapara. Chandigarh scored 301/5 against Assam’s total score of 266 in the first inning.

Mukhtar Hussain (55) was the top scorer for the host side while Raj Angad Bawa (3/57) and Nishank Birla (3/60) shared three wickets each. In reply, the team got off to a strong start with a half century by skipper Manan Vohra (59). Unbeaten Bawa made 122 runs in his 132 balls innings with the help of seven boundaries and eight sixes. Unbeaten Mayank Sidhu supported Bawa well with 54 runs.
