Famous actress Karisma Kapoor, granddaughter of towering Bollywood star Raj Kapoor, honored the Brahma Kumaris with the “Icon of India” Award at an impressive ceremony held at Ginger Hotel in Mumbai for the spread and promotion of India's ancient Raj
yoga.
Karisma presented the “Icon of India Award” to Baner (Pune) Seva Kendra in-charge Brahma Kumari Dr. Triveni and Dr. Deepak Harke, meditation instructor of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, the first Indian who made 183 world records. Famous motivational speaker Brahma Kumari Karina Didi was present on this occasion.
Karina Didi spoke to actress Karishma Kapoor about the dynamic methods of the organization and gave her a divine gift and also invited her to visit Mount Abu, the international headquarters of the organization.
