HOST JHARKHAND FELL CHEAPLY FOR 202 AGAINST UT BOYS

UT boys wrapped up host Jharkhand cheaply for mere 202 on the second day of the Ranji trophy match being played at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur on Sunday.

Jharkhand resumed its overnight score of 6/0 and faced a tough resistance from the duo of Jagjit Singh Sandhu (3/32) and Vishu (3/64). They were equally supported by Rohit Dhandha (2/25). Anukul Roy (61) was the top scorer while captain Virat Singh added 34 runs. Gurinder Singh and Nishank Birla consoled with one wicket each. Chandigarh scored 34 runs with unbeaten openers Shivam Bhambri (23) and Arsalan Khan (11) before the stumps were drawn. Chandigarh is still trailing by 168 runs.
