CHANDIGARH (298/5) PROVED TOO GOOD AGAINST UTTARAKHAND

An unbeaten century knock from wicketkeeper batter Akshit Rana (109) helped UT boys to piled up 298/5 against Uttrakhand on the opneing day of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy being played at Ramnagar on Sunday.

Earlier, Chandigarh won the toss and decided to bat first. Dushyant and Devang Kaushik gave the team a decent start with 85 runs partnership. Devang was dismissed after scoring 22 runs.

On the other end, Harman (7) and Paras (20) failed to deliver the goods as Dushyant was dismissed after scoring 93 runs. Later, Rana took charge followed by the removal of Nikhil (9) .

With unbeaten Rana (109) and Deepender Kush (30), Chandigarh 298 runs at the loss of five wickets by the end of the first day.
