UT BOYS LOST TO KARNATAKA BY 53 RUNS IN COOCH BEHAR TROPHY MATCH

,Karnataka beat Chandigarh by 53 runs on the third day of the Cooch Behar Trophy match being played at GMSSS ground, Sector 26 on Friday. Hosts needed 149 runs to win in their second innings.

In reply to Chandigarh's 272 in the first innings, visitors were bundled out for 99 runs. Later, Karnataka controlled the game in its second innings by scoring 323 runs. Local lads while on their chase were dominated by Dheeraj Gowda (5/31). Samarth (2/10) aptly supported him who took two wickets.

Gowda took a total of eight wickets in the match. For batting side, Ehit Salaria scored 36 runs while Aksh Rana added 26 runs.
