SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND ORGANISES EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY

Dot on Target Division under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command organized an Ex-Servicemen Rally and Medical Camp at Hisar Military Station today for ten districts of Haryana i.e. Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Mohindergarh, Rewari, Rohtak and Sirsa. The event witnessed participation of more than 1500 Ex-servicemen and their Next of Kins.

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command accompanied by Maj Gen Amit Talwar, General Officer Commanding, Dot on Target Division attended the same. Senior military officers and Civil Dignitaries of Hisar district including Maj Gen Shrikant Sharma (Retd), Vice Chancellor Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Rajinder Raina, Senior VP & Head of Ops, Jindal stainless Steel Ltd., Mrs C Jayasharadha, IAS, Addl Dy Commissioner, Hisar, Dr. Rajesh Mohan, IPS, Addl SP, Hisar also attended the rally. 

(SUBHEAD)The rally was organized with an aim to reach out to maximum Veterans and Next of Kins and resolve their day to day grievances. The rally commenced with a series of cultural programmes followed by lectures/ talks by representatives of various Ex- servicemen agencies.

The rally culminated with a felicitation ceremony to 48 Veer Naris, 19 War Wounded Veterans and 8 Veterans achievers for their selfless service towards Nation Building. 21 Specially Able Ex-servicemen were also presented with E- scooters during the rally of which 11 were given under aegis of Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), 5 by Jindal Group and 5 by State Bank India. Punjab National Bank and PRAHARI also voluntarily came forward and felicitated Veterans and Veer Naris.
