INDIA AWAITS: ‘KARMI AAPO APNI’ POSTPONED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CENSOR DELAYS, RELEASED IN US AND UK.

The makers of the highly anticipated Punjabi film Karmi Aapo Apni have announced a change in the film’s release schedule for India. Initially set for a December launch, the film’s release in India has been postponed to mid-January 2025 due to unforeseen circumstances. The decision aims to ensure an optimal viewing experience for audiences and proper coordination with promotional activities.

Meanwhile, Karmi Aapo Apni successfully premiered in the United States and the United Kingdom, receiving an overwhelming response from international audiences. During the press conference, the film’s director, producers, and lead cast members expressed their gratitude to the international audience for their love and support.

(SUBHEAD)They also addressed the decision to reschedule the Indian release, citing the importance of aligning the film’s launch with the right market conditions to ensure it reaches a wider audience.

Following its successful premieres in the U.S. and U.K., the filmmakers will announce the release in Canada, Australia, Europe, Dubai, and New Zealand soon.

Speaking on the occasion, Gurjinderjit Singh Sahota, the visionary behind Karmi Aapo Apni, said, “We are thrilled with the reception our film has received in the US and UK. However, we want to give our Indian fans the best experience, and hence, we’ve decided to reschedule the release. The wait will be worth it.

The film’s producers added, “Karmi Aapo Apni is not just a film but a celebration of Punjabi culture and values. With the new release date, we plan to amplify the reach and impact of the film, giving it the grandeur it truly deserves.”
