UT GIRLS WON IN UNDER 23 ODI, LOST IN UNDER 19 ODI

The all round performance from Aaradhna Bisht helped UT girls to register a five wicket win over Baroda in their last league match of Women's Under 23 ODI Trophy being played in Jamshedpur on Sunday. After winning the toss, Baroda decided to bat first and piled up 89 runs with the fine contributions from Jeenal Patel (21) and Neha Patel (20). Aradhana Bishta (4/16) took four wickets while Yashika (3/17) clinched three . In reply, Chandigarh achieved the target by losing five wickets in the 19th over. Aradhana Bisht scored unbeaten 33 runs while Sarah Mahajan added 26 runs.

Meanwhile, Chandigarh lost by five wickets despite a brilliant knock from Deepti Walia at the Under-19 ODI held at Surat. Karnataka invited Chandigarh to bat first. UT girls piled up for 152 runs in the 40th over with Deepti being the top scorer with 66. In reply, Karnataka surpassed the target in the 34th over at the loss of five wickets. Shreya Chavan scored fifty runs.
