ALL SIX FRANCHISEE TEAMS CONFIRMED FOR SHAHEED CHANDERSHEKHAR AZAD MEMORIAL T20 TOURNAMENT

The much-awaited Shaheed Chandershekhar Azad Memorial T20 Tournament under the supervision of UTCA’s president Sanjay Tandon which is scheduled to start from February 7 has confirmed their six franchises. A meeting to finalize all aspects of the tournament was held under the supervision of Dr. Rupesh Singh, the Tournament Executive Chairman, at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. The discussion was aimed at ironing out the final details and ensuring that the event runs smoothly from the start.

(SUBHEAD)The confirmed teams include HIIMS Hawks (owned by Acharya Manish), Talanoa Tigers (owned by Harkiran Singh), Punjab Panthers (owned by Paransh Gilhortra), Wild Wood Warriors (owned by Sukhdev Singh), City Challengers (owned by Sanjeev Vohra) and Manohar Mavericks (owned by Taran Inder Singh Bunny). The franchise system for the league follows a first-come, first-served policy, ensuring that the teams are formed in a fair and transparent manner. The franchisee owners will soon appoint their celebrity ambassadors. 

The CPL will feature a total of 33 matches, including two semifinals and one grand final, all to be played at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula. 

The league will not only offer thrilling cricket action but will also provide a platform for budding cricketers to showcase their talent and potentially make a name for themselves in the local and national cricket scene. League will be telecast live on Fancode.
