Chandigarh's Vanshita Verma won Gold medal in 81kg womens category here at 38th National Games in Uttrakhand.
Giving the information from Dehradoon Chef de mission of Chandigarh Rajiv Sharma said its indeed a very proud moment for all of us and for City beautiful UT Chandigarh. Rajiv Sharma disclosed that Vanshita lifted 93KG in Snatch & 115KG in clean & Jerk a total of 208 kg.
Her coach Kamaldeep Singh Bansal and Manager KDS Nagra expressed happiness over her winning gold for Chandigarh.
Chandigarh Olympic association President Dr Anmol Rattan Sidhu and NS Thakur secretary general send their greetings and warm wishes to Vanshita verma.
