PUNJAB ANNOUNCED HOLIDAY ON FEB. 26 IN CONNECTION WITH SHIVRATRI, SCHOOL COLLEGE AND OFFICES TO REMAIN CLOSED

The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on Wednesday, February 26, keeping in mind the holy festival of Mahashivratri. Due to this, all government and private schools across the state will remain closed.

On this day, there will be a holiday in government offices, government and private schools, colleges, educational institutions and other business establishments across the state.

It is worth noting that the festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country including Punjab. This year Mahashivratri is being celebrated on 26 February, keeping in mind which the Punjab government has declared a holiday on this day respecting the sentiments of the Hindu community.
