NARAYAN SEWA SANSTHAN TO ORGANIZE FREE LIMB MEASUREMENT CAMP FOR DIFFERENTLY-ABLED ON MARCH 2

National Award recipient from President of India and Udaipur based Narayan Sewa Sansthan will host a free Narayan Limb Measurement Camp in Chandigarh on March 2, 2025. The camp will be held from 8 am to 5 pm at the Community Center, Sector 49-C, Chandigarh. This initiative aims to support differently-abled individuals who have lost limbs due to accidents or illnesses by offering them free prosthetic limb measurements.

The event is organized under the “Kuan Pyaase Ke Paas” scheme and is set to benefit over 400 registered participants. While addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club, Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Director, Media & Public Relations of the institute highlighted that the camp is part of Narayan Seva Sansthan’s 40-year commitment to providing holistic support to the differently-abled community.

(SUBHEAD)With the guidance of Padma Shri-awarded founder Kailash Manav, the institute continues its mission of humanitarian service in the field of disability. The institute appeals to those interested to bring their Aadhar card, disability certificate, and two photographs to avail of the services. Experienced team of orthotists and prosthetic doctors will assess the attendees and take measurements for high-quality, durable, and lightweight prosthetic limbs and calipers. These will be distributed in a follow-up camp within two months, ensuring a customized fit for each individual.

Ramesh Sharma, Camp Incharge informed that free meals and refreshments will be provided for all beneficiaries and their families. Jitendra Singh Bhati, Ashram Incharge, added that local dignitaries will mark the occasion to encourage the camp.

Since its inception in 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan has empowered over 40,000 differently-abled individuals through its medical, educational, and rehabilitation programs.
