DR. REKHA SOOD HANDA HONORED FOR OUTSTANDING ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

Dr. Rekha Sood Handa, Principal of Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar, has been honored with the Certificate of Appreciation by the National EduTrust of India, registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. 

The prestigious award was presented by Deepak Bali, Advisor to the Government of Punjab and Samarth Sharma, CEO, National EduTrust of India, in a special ceremony held at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV), Jalandhar, for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) for the session 2024-25. 

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Handa has been honored for her relentless efforts in promoting sustainability, entrepreneurship, and environmental awareness in the education sector. She extended her gratitude to Samarth Sharma and the National EduTrust of India for acknowledging the institution’s commitment to environmental initiatives. 

She also credited her team for their support, particularly appreciating the contributions of Eco Club Coordinator Amandeep Kaur and the dedicated efforts of Ram Sarjivan and Brij Lal, whose work has enhanced the institution's green initiatives.
