On the occasion of the 53rd birth anniversary of Kargil martyr Captain Amit Bhardwaj (4 Jat), the Shaheed Amit Bhardwaj Memorial Charitable Trust organised a quiz competition for the young minds of the Pink City. The chief guest at the event was Major General Alok Raj (Retd), Chairman, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board.

The event began with a wreath-laying ceremony at Shaheed Amit Bhardwaj Memorial Park in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur followed by an interactive quiz competition with around 400 students from various schools in the city.

The programme was attended by friends and family members of the martyr, soldiers of the Jat Regiment, ex-servicemen of the army and civilians, who gather every year to remember the supreme sacrifice made by Captain Bhardwaj in the Kargil war. The event was also attended by some singers from the city, who kept everyone enthralled with patriotic songs.
