In a grand ceremony held in Chandigarh, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria honored DCM Group of Schools for establishing India’s first School of Entrepreneurship in the region. The prestigious recognition was received by the Group’s CEO, Dr. Anirudh Gupta.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Kataria emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and startups in the modern era, stating that such initiatives will significantly strengthen India's economic landscape while also contributing to the prosperity of the state’s economy. The event was graced by prominent industry leaders, Punjab government officials, Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Arvind Kumar, President of TiE Chandigarh Satish Arora, and distinguished personalities from the education sector.

(SUBHEAD)Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Anirudh Gupta highlighted the need for education that aligns with students' professional aspirations. He stressed that DCM YES (Young Entrepreneur School) integrates “practical knowledge” and “experiential learning” to ensure students are fully prepared for the future. Dr. Gupta reiterated that DCM YES was established to support the Government of India’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ initiatives.

Sharing his vision, Dr. Gupta revealed plans to establish similar institutions in other cities across India, offering students customized education based on their interests. The school follows a ‘Cradle to Corporate’ approach, equipping students with world-class entrepreneurial skills to contribute to the nation’s growth.

Dr. Gupta further stated that hard work, determination, and honesty are key to success, regardless of one’s background or geographical limitations.

It is noteworthy that DCM Group of Schools, with a legacy of over eight decades in education, had launched India’s first DCM Young Entrepreneur School (DCM YES) three years ago, which received widespread appreciation. The group has been a pioneer in integrating cutting-edge subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Thinking, Legal Education, Data Analytics, and Financial Literacy into its curriculum, setting new benchmarks in education.
