BSF INSPIRES BORDER YOUTHS WITH SPORTS DRIVE

In a significant initiative to encourage sports and physical activities among the youth in border areas, 55 Battalion Border Security Force under the Abohar Sector organized a Civic Action Programme at Mohammad Peera Senior Secondary School, located near Indo-Pak border.

During the event, the Commandant of 55 Bn BSF distributed various sports items to the students, aiming to promote a spirit of sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle. This initiative is part of BSF’s continued efforts to foster positive engagement with local communities and contribute to the holistic development of young minds. 

(SUBHEAD)The Commandant emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being. He encouraged students to actively participate in sports and assured them of BSF’s support in nurturing their talents. 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local dignitaries. The school authorities expressed their gratitude to BSF for its generous initiative and commitment to the welfare of the bordering population. 

An official spokesman said that the BSF remains dedicated to strengthening the bond between security forces and border communities through such welfare and development activities.
