SISTER BINDU HONOURED WITH OFFICIAL CITATION FROM THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA

The Women's Day event was organised at Brahma Kumaris Oklahoma City Center in Oklahoma, USA, in collaboration with the United Nations Association Oklahoma City chapter. The theme for the day was Rising Together: A Gathering for Women's Liberation and Empowerment. 

One of the Speakers, Sister Bindu, talked about the true meaning of liberation and empowerment. Dadi Janki’s journey was shared as an example of how inner transformation breaks barriers, proving that soul consciousness transcends limitations.

Sister Bindu received an official citation from the State of Oklahoma, recognizing her as the 2025 International Women’s Day Woman’s Ambassador of the Year.

The event had a parade of women from 26 countries all over the world wearing outfits representing Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. 

The event had a parade of women from 26 countries all over the world wearing outfits representing Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. 

Some, after listening to Sister Bindu and having noticed her gentle yet confident and powerful demeanor, were curious about how power and gentleness could coexist. Sister Bindu then shared insights on the strength that comes from connecting with the inner, authentic core of every soul and holding that awareness in thoughts, words, and actions.
