MOHALI POLICE INTENSIFY WAR AGAINST DRUGS, RAIDS AT DEREBASSI DRUG HOTSPOT TRIVEDI CAMP

As per directions of Sh Deepak Pareek, IPS, SSP SAS Nagar in punjab the ongoing 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' campaign, teams of SD Dera Bassi conducted raids for the sixth consecutive day on the houses of drug peddlers based at Drug Hotspot Trivedi Camp, Dera Bassi.

An FIR 59 dated 16-03-2025 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS Dera Bassi wrt recovery of 20gm Heroine was registered against following drug traffickers:-  Yusuf Masih s/o Babar,  ⁠Suraj Kumar s/o Rajesh Sahni,  ⁠Naresh@Teetars/o Chaman Lal all r/o Deha Basti, Trivedi Camp, Mubarikpur

The relentless drive by SD Dera Bassi Police teams against the drug menace continues to yield/deliver results. Ongoing raids and arrests have forced drug traffickers and smugglers to flee Trivedi Camp in Mubarikpur leaving their Rented apartments abandoned.

In last Few days SD Dera Bassi Police have arrested Fifteen (15) drug smugglers/ peddlers* and registered nine (09) FIRs against them at various Police Stations of SD Dera Bassi. Total 1 Kg Opium, 47gm Heroine, 150 Capsules, 13.5 liter Liquor, 80,000/- Drug Money, Two Cars, recovered. Additionally, in coordination with local panchayat several house-hold items were seized as proceeds of drug money under section 27(a) of NDPS Act.
