EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY AT MILITARY STATION BATHINDA ON MARCH 23

A Veteran Outreach Event (Ex-servicemen Rally) is being organized at Salaria Sports Stadium, Bathinda Military Station on 23 March 2025 under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command, Chetak Corps and 81 Sub Area. The event is dedicated to honouring the yeoman service of our esteemed Armed Forces Veterans.

The Ex-servicemen Rally entails to pay tribute and showcase camaraderie and gratitude to the Ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, Widows and Next of Kin of Battle Casualties/ Physical Casualties residing in Bathinda and Mansa District. The event aims to honour their service and sacrifice while also
providing support and opportunities.

(SUBHEAD) It will provide a one stop solution for the grievances of the veteran community and a unique platform to connect with the veterans with respect to their healthcare, re-employment, education, family friendly activities and career opportunities. The veterans will be provided transportation from designated venues to the rally location.

Various departments of Ministry of Defence like Pay and Allowances (PAO), respective Regimental Pension Departments, ECHS, Army Welfare Placement Organisation, District Sainik Board, Department of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), Indian Air Force and Indian Navy will be also establishing their stalls in the rally.

Apart from this, various banks and a Medical stall will also be placed for the assistance of Ex-servicemen. The rally is a symbol of continuous support & regular communication with our veterans following the ethos of Armed Forces about ‘Taking care of Our Own No Matter What’.
