The New High School Alumni Association (Regd.) hosted a special event here on Sunday, to honour Sanjeev Arora, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), in recognition of his continued support towards the revival and protection of their alma mater. Arora, who is now contesting from the Ludhiana West Assembly Constituency, was warmly felicitated by the alumni during the ceremony.

Alumni also supported wholeheartedly MP Arora for upcoming elections. All the Alumni members praised works done by MP Arora for Ludhiana & State of Punjab.

During the event, the alumni also submitted a detailed memorandum to Arora, demanding immediate intervention in the matter. The charter calls for the suspension of the current management committee and the formation of a new committee comprising former students.

(SUBHEAD)Alumni members voiced deep concern over the alleged misappropriation of school resources and sought justice to safeguard the institution’s future.

Assuring the alumni, Arora said, “I deeply value the concerns raised by the alumni and assure them that I will personally look into the matter”, adding that appropriate steps would be taken to ensure justice is served and the sanctity of the institution is restored. He added together we will re-establish it as a strong and purposeful educational centre so that future generations can receive the same quality education we once had.

Present among others were J.R. Singal, Rajesh Garg, Bharat Deewan, G.S. Bassi, Arun Goyal, Karan Chawla, and Amit Bansal.
