‘Kids Marathon 2025’ was held on Sunday morning at Yavnika Garden, Sector 5, Panchkula. The event started at 5:30 AM and continued till 8:00 AM. The marathon was organized by Zenith Roots Charitable Trust founders Neha Aggarwal and Shallu Aggarwal, in collaboration with Words n Numbers by Malvika. The main aim of the event was to promote health awareness, boost confidence among children, and encourage a sense of social responsibility.
This year’s theme was "Sweat Today, Shine Tomorrow", which was well received by both children and their parents. The young participants ran with great energy and enthusiasm. The event was led by Trust President Shallu Aggarwal and Chairperson Neha Aggarwal.
The marathon was flagged off by inspirational figures Adarsh Mathur and Renu Mathur. The race took place around the Outer Ring Road of Yavnika Garden. Before the run, all children took part in a warm-up session with fitness coach Gagan, which helped energize them for the event.
After the marathon, all participants were served nutritious meals prepared by Vidhi, owner of a local cloud kitchen. Every child received a participation medal, which added to their motivation and excitement.
A special highlight of the event was the participation of girls from Bal Sadan, located in Sector 12A. Their entire participation was fully sponsored by Zenith Roots Charitable Trust, proving that this was not just a race, but a social mission.
All funds raised from the event will be donated to Bal Sadan and Meshaan Foundation, both of which are dedicated to child welfare and supporting underprivileged communities.
‘Kids Marathon 2025’ proved that children are not only the future of the nation but also capable of bringing positive change in the present. The event became a source of inspiration for children, parents, and the entire community.
