The Vice President of the United States of America, JD Vance, accompanied by his wife Usha and their three children—Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel—visited the Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir in New Delhi as part of their four-day visit to India.

During their visit, JD Vance and his family explored the art, architecture, and cultural heritage of India showcased at the Mandir. Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir, New Delhi, stands as a remarkable testament to the confluence of traditional Hindu architecture, spirituality, cultural richness, and modern management practices.

The visit symbolizes the shared values of faith, peace, and unity that continue to strengthen ties between India and the United States.

Sharing his experience in the guest book, US Vice President JD Vance wrote:

“Thank you all so much for your hospitality and kindness in welcoming me and my family to this beautiful place. It is a great credit to India that you built a beautiful temple with precision and care. Our kids, in particular, loved it. God bless.”

The Vice President and his family wholeheartedly admired the intricately carved pillars, ornate domes, artistically adorned ceilings, and various other architectural and cultural features of the Mandir. They were also deeply inspired by the universal message of world peace that is reflected in every aspect of Swaminarayan Akshardham.
