BJP CERTAIN TO FORM THE NEXT GOVT IN PUNJAB: SUNIL JAKHAR

ANNOUNCES DONATION OF LAND FOR A MEDICAL COLLEGE IN ABOHAR

Raj Sadosh/Abohar

Addressing the Sarv Samaj OBC Conference organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Abohar in the presence of Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, senior BJP leader Sunil Jakhar said that it is certain that the BJP will form the next government in Punjab.

Announcing that he would donate his personal land for a medical college in the Abohar region, Jakhar said that the people of Abohar are like family to him and that he will always remain indebted to them.

The former state BJP president said that today’s event was dedicated to marking 12 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that just as the Modi government has worked under the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with All, Development for All), a BJP government in Punjab would ensure ‘Saab ka hisab’ / accountability also and that those who looted Punjab’s public treasury for personal gain would face legal action.

Making a political prediction, Jakhar said that the fate of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab would be similar to that of the TMC in West Bengal and that after the next elections the party would completely fall apart.

Jakhar said that once a BJP government is formed, not only would drugs be eliminated from the state, but law and order would also be restored by cracking down on criminal and anti-social elements.

He further stated that the time has come to expose those who came to power in the name of the common people and then built luxurious residences for themselves. He appealed to the public to share photos and videos on social media comparing their local AAP legislators’ old homes with the new mansions, farmhouses, and luxury cars they have allegedly acquired. According to him, this would help reveal the wealth accumulated by AAP legislators after coming to power.
