BK’S ST. PETERSBURG CENTRE HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF VALUE-BASED LEADERSHIP

As a sign of recognition of Brahma Kumaris’ 90th anniversary, the BK Centre in St. Petersburg has decided to honour 90 active, committed and dedicated dignitaries, leaders representing government bodies, the education system, law, healthcare, science, art and culture, business and entrepreneurship for their lifetime achievements.

“Women: Invisible Architects of Our Society” held at Lighthouse became the first in a series of 10 events. Didi Santosh said, “Just as a house is built of bricks or concrete, a family and a nation are ultimately built by our consciousness and our inner state. When I maintain inner stillness, stability, and self-respect, when I stay calm and strong, and remain aware of my connection to the Almighty Father, the Ocean of Love and Wisdom, a space of peace forms around me. Then I can light the path and bring hope, and teach the hearts of others to follow truth. Then, in my presence, the world is safer.”

Didi Chakradhari, chairperson, Women’s Wing (Delhi), sharing her blessings, said, “No matter how high my position, I shouldn’t be overcome by arrogance. If we treat everyone with love and respect, and build relationships on this foundation, we can create a society that will be like a family. If we see ourselves as givers of blessings, we can create a wonderful world.”
