On the second day of the event organized by the Vishvas Foundation, Panchkula, at Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur—held to mark Pitambar Diwas the auspicious day of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji)—a satsang spiritual gathering was conducted in a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
During this, Gurudev Shri encouraged the devotees to connect with the depths of meditation and to internalize its significance in their lives. Following the satsang, Gurudev Shri sang a soulful bhajan devotional song: What was my life before I found devotion to You I was like an extinguished lamp before I found devotion to You. The melodious rendition left the entire congregation deeply moved. Thereafter, Gurudev Ji sang another bhajan, which reflects on the transient nature of human existence—likening the human body to a mere guest in this world for just a few days.
In his discourse, Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji described meditation as a vital medium for attaining inner peace and self-realization. He explained that in today’s fast-paced lifestyle, meditation offers an individual the opportunity to spend a few moments with one self and to understand one’s own inner being. Regular meditation helps in stabilizing the mind, keeping negative thoughts at bay, and fostering patience, concentration, and balance in life.
He emphasized that the purpose of meditation is not merely to attain mental peace, but also to look within, recognize one’s true self, and strengthen one’s faith and surrender toward the Divine. Meditation, when practiced with sincerity and focus, helps cultivate human virtues such as love, compassion, humility, and mutual harmony.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas Ji noted that the teachings of Gurudev Shri inspire devotees to walk the path of righteousness, service, and humanity. Through satsang, individuals gain the opportunity to understand life’s core values and integrate them into their daily conduct. Through the guidance of a Guru and the practice of regular meditation, one’s life can be steered in a positive direction.
During the gathering, devotees enjoyed satsang spiritual discourse and bhajansoffering their reverence to Gurudev Shri with deep devotion. This spiritual event, held on the second day of Pitambar Diwas, encouraged the congregation to engage in self-reflection, cultivate devotion to the Guru, and understand the significance of meditation; it also inspired them to spread the message of love, peace, service, and harmony to all. The second session concluded with Gurudev chanting the maha-mantra, Om Guruve Namah.
