Raj Sadosh/Abohar.
Addressing the national conference on “Mind-Body Medicine” organized by the Brahma Kumaris Medical Wing at Gyan Sarovar in Mount Abu on the theme “The Power of Inner Healing,” Dr. Mahendra Kumar Aseri, Vice Chancellor of Marwar Medical University, Jodhpur, said that although modern medical science has advanced significantly with sophisticated resources, doctors still advise patients—even after all medical treatments—to keep their minds calm, avoid stress, and practice meditation.
Dinesh Kumar Bisen, Commissioner, Gwalior, Central Bureau of Narcotics, said that God is a realization perceived through the intellect—the third eye of knowledge. Spirituality brings positivity into life. He noted that the success rate for overcoming addictions among practitioners of Rajyoga meditation is 100 percent, because once a person breaks free from these addictions, they never fall back into their trap. Dr. Mandeep Sachdeva, Registrar of the Haryana Medical Council, added that meditation acts as a form of medicine and enhances the effectiveness of medical treatments.
BK’s General Secretary, Karuna Bhai, explained that the body functions only when the conscious soul enters this inert physical frame. Dr. Ashok Mehta, Chairperson of the Medical Wing, observed that the present times are dominated by wasteful and negative thoughts; the Brahma Kumaris organization teaches methods of positive thinking through meditation. Additional Secretary Mrityunjaya Bhai said that we must all work towards ushering in the ‘Golden Age’ —a world free from sorrow and unrest, and filled with happiness and peace—where there will be no disease or pollution of any kind.
Welcome song was presented by the Madhurvani Group.
