GURU NANAK GLOBAL FOUNDATION LAUNCHES MAJOR INITIATIVES FOR YOUTH AND FARMERS

KEY STEPS TO STRENGTHEN HIGHER EDUCATION, TECHNICAL TRAINING AND CROP PROTECTION

Face2News/Chandigarh :

Guru Nanak Global Foundation has announced the launch of several significant initiatives aimed at empowering youth through modern education, innovative thinking, and global opportunities. The foundation serves as the supporting body of Guru Nanak Dev Global University, Texas (USA).
The major initiatives include a specialized higher education training program, a course in semiconductor technology, a crop protection scheme for farmers, and the organization of an international conference.

Under the higher education initiative, postgraduate students will be trained through a structured three-stage program. The objective is to develop capabilities in innovation, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship, enabling students to emerge as responsible and impactful leaders.

The semiconductor technology course will equip youth with skills in chip design, fabrication, and advanced manufacturing techniques. This initiative is expected to meet the growing technological demands of the country while creating better employment opportunities for young professionals.
Keeping in view the challenges faced by farmers, a dedicated crop protection scheme has also been introduced. Recently, unseasonal rains and hailstorms have caused significant damage to crops across several states. Under this scheme, affordable and eco-friendly protective solutions will be developed to safeguard crops from natural calamities.\

In addition, the foundation will organize a major international conference in India in 2026, bringing together experts, industry leaders, policymakers, and environmental specialists from across the world. The conference will provide a strong platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative opportunities.

On this occasion, Chairman Baljit Singh stated that the aim of these initiatives is to provide direction to youth and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. He added that such efforts will continue in the future to strengthen education, innovation, and social service.
The Guru Nanak Global Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to value-based education and service to humanity.
