Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said: We extend heartfelt greetings to all people of the Northern Hemisphere as they welcome the longest day of the year; traditionally associated with discipline, gratitude for nature’s abundance, inner illumination, introspection, and spiritual deepening.
We invite global communities, interfaith partners, and neighbors to join in reflecting on the Solstice as a universal moment of deep reflection, renewal, and shared humanity; aimed at aligning human consciousness with the cosmic rhythm; Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, added.
Rajan Zed hoped that the Summer Solstice would bring mutual understanding to people of all faiths and backgrounds across the globe, cultivate a deeper respect for our shared planet, foster global harmony, and guide humanity towards a higher purpose.
Zed further urged people worldwide to reflect on the interconnectedness of humanity and nature and harmony with the cosmos. Summer Solstice symbolized interconnectedness of all existence, knowledge, light, living in balance with the universe, and the triumph of positivity over darkness.
Rajan Zed exhorted people of all backgrounds to use this occasion to promote compassion, environmental responsibility, global solidarity, goodwill, mutual respect, and peace.
