ORDER MUN 2.0 CONCLUDES AT DASS & BROWN WORLD SCHOOL, INSPIRES FUTURE LEADERS IN DIPLOMACY

 The two-day Border MUN 2.0 – From Battlefields to Boardrooms, organised by the DCM Group of Schools, concluded on a high note at Dass & Brown World School, bringing together students to deliberate on pressing global issues and develop leadership, diplomacy and negotiation skills.

Held under the theme “World in Conflict: From West Asia to the Indo-Pacific,” the Model United Nations conference witnessed delegates representing world leaders and debating key international issues, including the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Russia-Ukraine war, Iran-Israel tensions, the China-Taiwan dispute and global security challenges.

The valedictory ceremony, held at Vishnu Bhagwan Rai Bahadur Auditorium, was attended by Major General S.S. Chauhan (Veteran) as the chief guest. Military officers Manish Sharma, Rakesh, Sandeep Kumar and Rahul Raj, BSF officer Hari Prakash, and ADRM Nitin Garg attended as special guests.

Brigadier Navdeep Mathur (Retd.), Director Administration, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the objectives of the conference. The event also featured cultural performances by students and a patriotic presentation by the Confluence Band.

Convener Stuti Sachdeva said the conference celebrated the diplomatic thinking, leadership qualities, analytical skills and spirit of global cooperation displayed by the young delegates. Members of the Executive Board, including Lalit Prinja, Adityarajsinh Chudasama, Dhruvrajsinh Jhala, Ayra Khurana, Sezan Agavan, Siddharth Gupta and Shrey Joshi, praised the efforts of Dass & Brown World School and the DCM Group of Schools for hosting the event.

Addressing the gathering, Major General S.S. Chauhan lauded the vision and leadership of DCM Group CEO Dr Anirudh Gupta, saying that his efforts had made it possible to organise an international-standard Model United Nations conference in a border district like Ferozepur. He also appreciated the enthusiasm, confidence and intellectual depth displayed by the participants.

The programme concluded with a vibrant Virsa-e-Punjab performance followed by the National Anthem.

Among those present were COO Major General Veer Bhatt (Veteran), Director Manjeet Singh Dhillon, Principal Ruchi Pandey, GM Dr Celine, Head Public Relations Vikramaditya Sharma, Head Graphic Rabia Sharma and other dignitaries.
