Hindi play ‘Apradhi’, staged by Rashtriya Kala Mandir at Chaudhary Ramjas Sadan Auditorium, Sriganganagar, not only mesmerized the audience but also compelled them to reflect deeply. The response was overwhelming as the auditorium was packed to capacity.
Vijay Jora, who adapted the play into Hindi and also directed it, once again demonstrated that serious and thought-provoking theatre continues to resonate with audiences. Chief guest, Ajay Bansal, highly praised the storyline and the outstanding acting skills of the performers. The nearly 90-minute presentation kept the entire hall in complete silence.
The actors delivering powerful performances included Mamta Ahuja, Mamta Puri, Ritu Singh, Mohan Dadarwal, Gaurav Balana, Ashok Chalana, Umang Sharma, Vikram Monga, Shivcharan, Chandan Kushwaha and Bhavya Gupta.
Special credit goes to Vishesh Saraswat for stage management, Deepak Saraswat for sound and lighting, and Vaibhav Ahuja for stage design.
