RD BURMAN FANS CLUB’S MUSIC MEET BECOMES A MEMORABLE EVENING

The RD Burman Fans Club organized a special Music Meet last evening, where renowned Bollywood playback singer Udbhav Ojha and his talented wife, singer-actress Jaya Pandey, mesmerized the entire audience with their brilliant performances. The main purpose of the event was to pay tribute to the legendary singer Asha Bhosle.

Udbhav Ojha presented several popular songs of Kishore Kumar, which were greatly appreciated by the audience. Local artists including Simarjit Singh, Sahibjot Singh, Assistant Professor Shobhit, Angel Middha, Sanjay Jagrata, Akshat Pandey, Shailendra Singh Chauhan, Advocate Naval Khemka (along with their respective spouses), and Harish Grover-Madhu Grover enthralled everyone with their melodious renditions. Retired Agricultural Scientist Dr. O.P. Vaish mesmerized the gathering by playing film tunes on the mouth organ.

Akshat Pandey and Udbhav Ojha spoke in detail about Asha Bhosle’s life, her singing prowess, and her immortal contribution to music. They also paid tribute by performing some of her popular songs.

The musicians who enhanced the evening with their talent included: Sachin on bass guitar, Dinesh on Spanish guitar, Vijay Dabi on harmonium, Deepak on keyboard, Sunil Maurya on tabla, Chand Sulemani on pad, and Shailendra Singh Chauhan on percussion.

The event was graced by the presence of the club’s patrons — Manju Pandey, Gopal Mittal, Rajesh Jain, and Sanjeev Lohia. The program was efficiently compeered by Prem Chugh and Lalit Doda. Secretary Dr. Kusum Jain expressed gratitude to all.
