The Gyan Shakti Think Tank (GSTT), under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command, organised an insightful seminar on the topic “Iran War and its Geo-Political Implications” at Jaipur Military Station.

Large number of serving officers, veterans, academicians and students from eminent universities and schools in Jaipur attended the seminar. The eminent panel included former Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria and three former ambassadors with profound understanding of Middle East, i.e. Amb Dinkar Srivastava, Amb Gopal Bagley and Amb Satish Mehta who shared their enriching views on the subject.

The speakers explained the geography, gave historical perspective and spoke about the psyche of the warring nations. They also discussed the impact of ongoing conflict on economies and future world order in light of failing international monitoring bodies and alliances. The issues including legality of use of force, targeted attacks on leadership and changing nature of war with overwhelming use of AI & air power were also deliberated in depth.
