Welcom Hotel Bella Vista today launched its Kashmiri food festival providing some of the best mouthwatering dishes from the valley beautiful. The festival provides an exhaustive menu that boasts of specialty dishes from different regions of Kashmir. During this 10-day-long food fest foodies will relish the redolence of the flavours and spices with delicacies such as Tabak Maaz, Mutton Yakhni, Haak Saag, Rista and much more. 

Speaking on the occasion, Hotel General Manager Vivek Khanna said, “Absolutely rich in taste and exotic in flavor, Kashmiri cuisine has become a popular choice. These authentic Kashmiri dishes have been prepared by our experienced chefs who have spent years in the valley mastering the recipes. These dishes will mesmerize the foodies as the mouth watering preparations will linger in their taste buds for a long time”. 

Talking about the fest, Chef Manohar said, “Kashmiri food that we have today in the offering has evolved over the years. Kashmiri food makes an extensive use of turmeric and yoghurt. Superb preparation and fabulous aromatic flavor of the Kashmiri food is so alluring that even those who are not feeling hungry end up yearning for more”. 

Meanwhile, Chef Jitender Singh Rawat said, “The strong influence of Kashmiri pandits, who are predominantly meat eaters, explains the reason why the cuisine of Kashmir has more of non-vegetarian dishes. Kashmiri food offering is preferred mainly for its non-vegetarian dishes. However, there are some real mouthwatering vegetarian dishes too, which are relished by all”. 

The cuisine of Kashmir is truly unique and has absolutely no comparison.  Kashmir’s cuisine is unique not just in terms of spices but also in terms of the constituent elements that form the core of a dish. The local ingredients used make these dishes unique.

The Hotel will be serving a sumptuous buffet spread on weekends i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays, come and relish on lip-smacking delicacies with TDH and à la carte`menu options.
