INDIANAPOLIS (BALBIR SINGH)

Internationally known artist, architect, and designer Kanwal Prakash Singh aptly described Talbott Street Art Fair is all about art. Established in 1956 and hosted at the 16th and Talbot to 20th and Talbot between Pennsylvania and Delaware, the Art Display is among the oldest and well-recognized outdoor art fairs in the United States of America.

This year 269 artists from across the country participated in the festival to display their prized products. Every year thousands of art supporters and fans visit the Art Fair (TSAF). However, this year, attendance was a bit low due to hot and humid conditions. Yet on the first day, it received overwhelming response before the noon session on Friday.

Mr Petr and his family members showed keen interest in the artwork of KP Singh, who was participating in the TSAF for the 48th year running. Mr Petr is already in possession of one of the art piece of Mr Singh. According to Mr Singh, who is well known Hoosier for this community service and is an interfaith leader said that that TSAF has added " immeasurably to the culture and spirit of our State and introducing the significant place of art(s) to generations at no cost to the fair goers."

The art enthusiasts, art patrons, and Hoosier families visited the fair to enjoy art, meet the artists and craftsmen, select art for special occasions, see friends and make new friends. And today it was Father's Day. A number of visitors purchased the art pieces to present them as gift to their fathers/elders.

One of the booths prominently displayed "Makes a Great Father's Day Gift!" KP Singh, who migrated to USA 51 years ago, and is a Hoosier for the last 50 years, said "from Talbot Street his art work has traveled all over the world." Today Mr Petr Vorsilak, who originally hails from Czech Republic, visited KP Singh's booth. The visitors were seen keen interest in KP Singh artwork.
