CHANNI INVITES ALL NRIS OF UK TO BE PART OF 550TH PARKASH PURB OF SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI

The Indian Ministry of tourism and culture organized three road shows at Glasgow, Manchester (U.K) and Dublin (Ireland) to promote Indian Tourism.

The Punjab Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Technical Education and Employment Generation Minister, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi represented Punjab at road show held at Glasgow. Mrs Anju Ranjan IFS, Counsel General Glasgow, UK tour operators, Travel agents, tourist counselors, bloggers and hotilers also participated in large number in these road shows.

PARTICIPATES IN ROAD SHOW IN UK TO PROMOTE PUNJAB TOURISM

Mr. Vikas Rostogi, Dy. Director General Ministry of Tourism Government of India gave a presntation to attract more tourists to India on the occasion.Ms. Reenu & Mrs. Shobha from the ministry of tourism and culture GOI & other officers of the Ministry of External Affairs, GoI also present in the road show at Glasgow. 


  
  
Prominent from Indian diaspora especially Punjabis of Edenburg and Glasgow were including Mr.Sanjeev Kochar and Mr. Jasvir Singh.

The Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Mr. Channi appealed to the NRIs to visit Punjab as all the world class facilities like hotels, roads, railways, Air connectivity were essily available for the NRI tourists in Punjab. He said that the Punjab Government in the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has made Punjab as one of the best tourist friendly destination in the country. Mr. Channi added that Punjabi hospitality is well known over the world which makes Punjab one of the best tourist attraction.

Mr. Channi also invited NRIs to visit Punjab to celebrate 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji as Punjab Government has made all arrangements for the celebrations for the devotees. Mr. Channi also appealed to Punjabi diaspora to get in touch with officers of Ministry of external Affairs at Glasgow and motivate the people to visit Punjab during the Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji.
