KARAN NATH READY TO PLAY AN EFFECTIVE INNINGS IN HINDI CINEMA WITH GUNS OF BANARAS'

Talented actor, Karan Nath, who debuted in Bollywood world with the blockbuster 'Yeh Dil Hai Aashiquana', directed by veteran Director Kuku Kohli, is all set to play an impressive innings in Hindi cinemaby his new movies 'Gangs of Banaras'.

The film is directed by young and promising director Shekhar Suri. Originally hailing from a Punjabi family, Karan’s father Rikku Rakesh Nath is considered to be a well-known personality in Bollywood, under whose guidance many stars like Madhuri Dixit could touch the sky.

  With a deep love for Punjab and Punjabiyat, Karan arrived in City Beautiful Chandigarh today in connection with the release of his new film. He said the film will exhibit his action and effective emotions and will also depict the mood of the young victims of social situations.

He further revealed that Nathalia Kaur will be seen in the film as his opposite. The other prominent faces include Abhimanyu Singh, Ganesh Venkataraman, Shilpa Shirodkar, Zarina Wahab, Mohan Agashe and Tej Sapru. Karan, who started his career as a child artiste from Mr India,  made his debut as a lead actor in the film - Madness (2001). His acting in the film was appreciated, however he got special recognition from the next movie – ‘Yeh Dil Aashiqana’ in 2002. 

The music of Yeh Dil Aashiqana also played an important role in making  it a big success. It proved to be the biggest hit of his career. It was a musical blockbuster. Almost all of its songs were hit at that time. The story of the film was based on love. Jividha Sharma was his heroine in the film and Sandesh Kohli had directed it. Karan has also played good roles in movies like Sssshhh (2003),

Tum-e-Dangers (2004), LOC Kargil (2003), Tera Kya Hoga Johnny (2008), Jabardast (2008). Karan is quite excited with the response his new film’s trailer is getting. He has also produced two movies i.e. Dil  Tera Aashiq (1993) and Madhuri Ki Mohabbat (1997).
