THAI FOOD, FRUITS AND COOKING SKILLS INTRIGUING VISITORS AT TOP THAI BRANDS 2020 SHOW

HANDMADE OPAL GLASSWARE TOP THAI BRANDS 2020 EXHIBITIONS ATTRACT TRICITY RESIDENTS AND BIZMEN

The ‘Top Thai Brands 2020’ exhibition focusing on rich culture, art, cuisines & products of Thailand; organized by Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government and supported by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) saw an enthusiastic response from the local shoppers as well as businessmen and will be open for visitors till 15 March 2020.   

Thai Food, Fruits and Cookery Show fascinated the visitors who were not only enthralled to learn and understand its various delicacies, rather got an opportunity to taste and see how they are prepared. Free fruit tasting and Chefs preparing Thai cuisines in front of the audience generated more eagerness amongst the spectators to explore the Thai culture.  

Another key attraction for the visitors on the Day 2 of the four day exhibition was revealed in the Handmade Opal Glassware kiosk, where ‘Thai Soojung Glass’ showcased state-of-art Thai crockery made out of 100% organic glass, free of lead and cadmium. The same is also stain & scratch proof with 0% water absorption and was made available to potential buyers in a variety of designs & vibrant colors. To add to the overall fervor of the show, periodic Thai dance performances made the audience witness a visible demonstration of the unique Thai culture. 

The culinary adventures of Bangkok Street food were well exhibited, hailing from Thai localities such as Silom, Sukhumvit, Khao San, Phra Nakhon, Ratchaprasong-Pathumwan, Pratunam, Tha Phrachan, Huai Khwang and many more. Brands like ‘Tipco’ and ‘Chabaa’ offering natural fruit juices, sparkling drinks and basil seed drinks’ range also familiarized the visitors about authentic Thai beverages. Snacks menu also formed a crucial segment in the food products display, where brands like ‘Tong Garden’ offered munching packs of peanuts, cashews, almonds, cranberries, dried packed fruits, plums, dates, flower based snacks; all from Thailand. The food options are packaged and customized and available in a variety of sizes and options as per contemporary lifestyle.

Other products on display also encompass garments, jewelry, accessories, home decors, jigsaw lamps, textiles, health & beauty products including skin care, hair care, over-the-counter medicines, light laxatives, perfumes, humidifier & essential oils, Thai herbal cosmetics & spa products. Household products such as mango wood kitchenware, tableware, photo frames, wall décors, stainless steel furniture, Thai handicrafts, etc. also formed important segments at the exhibition. The exhibition is also benefitting business to business interactions and facilitating trade linkages between the two nations.
