Renowned educationist and social worker from Feorozepur district, Dr. Anirudh Gupta has been honored by the President of Mauritius Prithviraj Singh Roopun for playing an important role in the field of education and skills development. Gupta was honored in a grand event organized at World Hindi Secretariat at Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Leela Devi, High Commissioner Nandini Singla besides top notch personalities from the education world
While interacting with the President, Dr. Gupta also invited him to visit Punjab on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee celebrations of DCM Group adding his visit will strengthen cultural ties between India and Mauritius. Dr. Gupta said that at present there is a dire need to provide such education to the students which can be useful in their profession also.
The Mauritius President highly appreciated the work being done by Dr. Gupta and said that the efforts being made by Dr. Gupta to educate the thousands of students belonging to border region with the help of modern technology are praiseworthy and everyone should take inspiration from him. While praising Dr. Gupta, the President said that though Dr. Gupta belongs to a border district, his efforts to raise the level of education are incomparable.

It is pertinent to mention here that before this, Dr. Gupta has been awarded as the “Edupreneur of the Year Award” six times besides “Edu Leader of the Year”, “Times Power Icon Award 2021” award. Dr. Gupta was also included among 21 celebrities of the country's leading education world.
It is also worth mentioning that Anirudh Gupta has already represented the state and the country at various forums and is trying to give a new identity to India in the field of education. Dr. Gupta was earlier selected for the BAT Asia Leadership Award 2021 by Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools, by BAT Asia, the largest educational summit held in Group Asia. Gupta has also been included in the top 21 Edupreneur in India.
Dr. Gupta said that for him this award is only a symbol of the fact that a person wants to move ahead in any field with hard work, determination and honesty. “My aim is to take the youth belonging to this border belt forward in the field of higher level education, sports, IT, social service.”, added. As soon as CEO Anirudh Gupta reached Ferozepur after receiving the award, he was given a grand welcome. DCM Group Deputy CEO (Academics) Dr. Gopan Gopala Krishnan and Director Admin Retired Brigadier Navdeep Mathur said that it is a matter of pride for the entire India that Dr Gupta has received such an appreciation at the international level. He said that due to the efforts of Dr. Gupta, world class education is being provided to the students of this border area.
