11th Deputy Commissioner of Fazilka Mrs.Senu Duggal

Vowing to provide a swift and transparent administration to all citizens with unflinching focus on total accountability, Senu Duggal, IAS on Wednesday took over as the 11th Deputy Commissioner of Fazilka; becoming the 3rd woman officer to lead the sensitive border district.
The 2012-batch IAS officer with a vast experience of serving in the strategically significant Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Duggal who has also been posted as Commissioner Municipal Corporation Abohar is known to be an affable officer with strict work ethics of discipline, action and responsibility.
“I seek active support and guidance of each and every citizen of Fazilka district in efficacious discharge of my duty to fulfil the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann ji to make “Rangla Punjab”, the new DC said while interacting with media-persons at the District Secretariat. Dedicated plans would be formulated for various fields such as cleanliness, education, safety and wellbeing of our senior citizens, traffic, and environment, Duggal added.

The state qualification criteria for recommendation of candidates for the UPSC interview entailed rigorous matching up of exemplary service record, length of service and above all the nuanced understanding and appreciation of their departmental domain areas.
Senu Duggal who was until now holding the twin responsibilities as the Special Secretary General Administration and Coordination besides Special Secretary Printing & Stationery has succeeded Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS who has now been posted as Gurdaspur Deputy Commissioner.
