Bhagwan Parashuram Jayanti was celebrated to honour the birth anniversary of the Maharishi who is considered to be the 6th avatar of Lord Vishnu in the Hindu mythology. A grand program was organized by Sarv Brahmin Samaj here.

A large number of people assembled near the Sethi Palace where the former patron of the Samaj late Kanti Bhardwaj had installed the idol of Bhagwan Parshuram in the memory of his father Deendayal Sharma, a renowned ayurvedic physician of Kotkapura.

People offered floral tributes to the idol. On the occasion, Matadeen Shastri, Satya Narayan Sharma, Chandrabhan, Brij Mohan, Gautam Gaur, Sunil Bhardwaj, Rajeev, Sukhdev, Badal Dixit, Ankush, Shyam Sunder, Surinder Kumar, Aditya Moudgil, Ravikant, Loveleen, Neelkamal, Sachin, Babu Lal, Sanjeev Sharma, Satish, Amit, Prashant, Harshit, Vipin, Sunil, Rajesh, Yogesh Panjkosi, Rajinder and Deepak Sharma were present.
