MAHAYAGYA FOR WORLD PEACE ORGANISED IN AKSHARDHAM

A splendid Vishwa Shanti Yagya was organised in the premises of the globally acclaimed Akshardham Temple in the capital city of New Delhi. Around 1400 spiritually-inspired devotees sat to perform religious oblations in this holy ritual which was aimed at furthering the cause of world peace.

Swaminarayan Akshardham, Delhi is a worldly acclaimed Temple which was inaugurated by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in 2005.In the series of vivid spiritual events hosted at this very Akshardham Temple, a grand Vishvashanti Maha Yagya was organised.

After the completion of the Maha Yagya, the spiritual assembly was blessed by Pujya Bhaktavatsal Swami, He said, “As per the Upanishads, Yagya is a special ceremony of devotion which symbolizes dedication. During this ritual the sacred fire is invoked and various offerings are made with an intent that everything we have received is offered to the supreme being. The sacrifices which have been offered in the Yagya do reach the presiding deities.

111 Yagya Kunds were dedicated and made in the shape of Swastika for 1400 spiritually devotees who participated in the sacred ritual. The ritual offerings of the Yagya were provided in front of all the altars. The presence of Bhagavan Brahmaji, Vishnu, Shivji and Ganpati were respectfully invoked. The holy offerings were made amidst the high-pitched chanting of holy mantras. The entire premises was filled with the enchanting of the 315 verses of the “Satsang Diksha” scripture. The rosy fire fulfilled its role as the "Havyavahan" (carrier of offerings).
