Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, the president of the National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) and the Federation of Private School Welfare Association, Haryana, said at a press conference in Chandigarh that private schools, which play a crucial role in education, have become victims of wrong policies and authoritarianism.

As a result, nearly 4,500 private schools in the state are on the verge of closure. Along with this, one lakh teachers and fourth-grade employees associated with these schools are also on the verge of unemployment. NISA and the federation will not let this happen. Schools will not be closed at any cost. For this, NISA will seek refuge in the high court and will vehemently oppose oppressive policies. During the media interaction, leaders such as Santosh Bhargava, Surendar Yadav, Ashwani Sharma, and Devendra Arora were also present.

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, National President of NISA, said that not a single private school will be allowed to close down. For this, NISA and the federation will go to the high court and plead for justice. Dr. Sharma said that rules have been set for both private and government schools in the Right to Education. In such a situation, how fair is it to target only private schools by citing rules? Why is this discrimination being done? NISA and the federation will struggle in every possible way for justice.

Private school operators are becoming victims of wrong policies.

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that due to wrong policies, thousands of private schools and one lakh teachers and Class IV employees associated with them have plunged into darkness. Among these teachers, 80% are women who sustain their families on their salaries.

Dr. Sharma said that the government claims it can run schools in two shifts. The truth is that there are many government schools like this with only one room. All government schools lack basic facilities.

On one hand, the government says it will admit children from closing private schools to government schools. I believe this is dictatorship. Has the government consulted children and their parents, obtained their consent, or is it imposing its decision on them? This is wrong. This is a unilateral action by the government. It is a decision full of discrimination.

The atmosphere of lawlessness has been created in the field of education.
Santosh Bhargava from Hisar said that due to wrong decisions, an atmosphere of lawlessness has been created in the field of education.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini should take cognizance of the entire matter and take action to resolve the issue. A check on authoritarianism is needed in Haryana. Those who have submitted wrong affidavits in this matter should be noticed by the government. People's representatives are for the welfare of the people. They are not meant to harass them.

Hisar's legal advisor associated with the federation, Santosh Bhargava, said that the legal study of this entire matter is being done. Several petitions will soon be filed in the high court regarding this matter.
