Keeping in view Up-Coming Lok Sabha Elections-2024, following the direction of Senior Officer, teams of Operations Cell Sector-26 Chandigarh are on High Alert.

A team under the directions of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP/Operations &  under the supervision of Sh. Jasbir Singh, DSP Operations and the leadership of In-charge, Operations Cell Inspector Sher Singh succeeded in arrest of one Auto lifter namely Raj Kumar @ Kalu S/O Sh. Ganga Ram R/O # Krishna Nagar Gate No. 03, near Nada Bridge Nayagoan, SAS Nagar Mohali Punjab age 23 years and Stolen Motorcycle has been recovered from his possession.

Police said, E FIR NO. 323 DATED 08.04.2024 U/S 379 IPC ADDED 411 IPC PS- MANI MAJRA CHANDIGARH was registered on the complaint of Guarav Kumar S/o Roop chand Singh, in which he complained that on 08.04.2024 his Vehicle M/C No. CH01 BY 9672 has been stolen by unknown person from near # 2196/6 Pipliwala Town Mani Majra Chandigarh.

On 15.04.2024, on the basis of secret information ASI Durjan Singh 2995/CP, HC Amardeep 935/CP, Ct. Vinod 1650/CP apprehended the boy namely Raj Kumar @ Kalu S/O Sh. Ganga Ram R/O # Krishna Nagar Gate No. 03, near Nada Bridge Nayagoan SAS Nagar Mohali Punjab age 23 years from near kishangarh School Chandigarh and stolen motor Cycle make Splender colour grey black without key bearing No. CH 01 BY 9672 has been recovered from his possession. Thereafter he has been arrested in this case. Section 411 IPC has been added in this case.

The accused identified as Raj Kumar @ Kalu S/O Sh. Ganga Ram R/O # Krishna Nagar Gali No. 03, Nagar Nada Bridge Nayagoan SAS Nagar Mohali. He is previously involved in one case of theft in the year of 2023. i.e case FIR No. 41/2023 U/s 379, 411 IPC PS- IT Park, Chandigarh.
