NCC Directorate, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh Contingent comprising of 126 cadets from the region will be participating in the Republic Day Camp scheduled to be held at New Delhi from 29 December, 2023 to 28 January, 2024.
15 Cadets from Chandigarh Group have been to participate in Republic Day Camp. The Contingent will compete in various Inter Directorate competitions in which Cadets from all over India will participate.
Raw talent of NCC Cadets from various institutions has been identified by NCC and these cadets have been further trained and groomed through different training programmes to achieve excellence in various events. Cadets selected for the said event have worked very hard to reach this stage.
On the Occasion, Brigadier Harpreet Singh, Group Commander, NCC Group HQ Chandigarh interacted with the Cadets and motivated them to put in their best efforts to participate in all competitions with enthusiasm and vigour to excel in various events.
