INSTRUCTED DG JAIL TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE JAIL OFFICIALS INVOLVED IN THIS CASE, ON TUESDAY, THE HOME MINISTER LISTENED TO THE GRIEVANCES OF THE PEOPLE AT HIS RESIDENCE AND INSTRUCTED THE OFFICIALS TO TAKE ACTION.

The family has lodged an appeal with Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh Anil Vij, accusing the Ambala Jail Administration of releasing the wrong individual on bail. They alleged that, in collaboration, another person was wrongfully released, and a fabricated case was filed against the innocent party. In response, the Home Minister instructed the Director General of Jail to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and take stringent action against those responsible.
Shri Vij attentively listened to the concerns of people arriving from every corner of the state at his residence.
A woman and her family, residents of Balana village in Ambala district, accused the Ambala jail administration. They claimed that their son, involved in a fight, was recently granted bail while in Ambala Central Jail. Upon reaching the jail to bring him home, the administration informed them that their son had already been released on bail and had left for home.
(SUBHEAD)The family, after searching for their son throughout the night without success, returned to the Central Jail. However, the jail administration provided no clear information. A week later, they discovered that their son was being presented in court again. In court, their son revealed that he had initially been granted bail, but another individual was released in his place by the jail administration. To conceal this collusion, the jail administration arrested him by falsely implicating him in a case. The family urged Home Minister Anil Vij to take stringent action against the jail administration and to cancel the false case filed against their son.
Addressing the matter with utmost seriousness, Home Minister Anil Vij engaged in a conversation with DG Jail and issued directives for stringent action. Shri Vij asserted that the release of one person from jail in exchange for another would not be possible without the collusion of the jail administration. He instructed DG Jail to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the entire issue and ensure strict action against those found guilty.
Likewise, numerous other cases were brought to the attention of the Home Minister, on which the Home Minister directed the concerned officials to take action.
