CYCLE EXPEDITION BY DBN BRIGADE TO PROMOTE FITNESS AND ENVIRONMENT PRESERVATION

A cycle expedition team of 12 BIHAR Regiment set off from Madhopur Headworks to Jalandhar Cantonment on Wednesday. The team comprises of one Officer, one JCO and 10 other ranks in the expedition. Flagging off ceremony of the expedition took place in Amritsar. On the occasion, Major General Mukesh Sharma, GOC, Panther Division interacted with the team and expressed his best wishes and commended the initiative of the Regiment.

The ceremony was also attended by Brigadier Pranaya Dangwal, Commander, Dera Baba Nanak (DBN) Brigade and the Colonel Vipin, Commanding Officer, 12 BIHAR regiment.

The expedition team is being led by Captain P Sampath. The goal of expedition is to promote fitness, physical and mental health through cycling as well as raise awareness among children and youth about environmental preservation. The expedition will terminate in Jalandhar Cantonment on 25 November, 2023.
